Follow these steps to get your FSSAI registration in Delhi online. Register on the FoSCos portal first and fill up Form-A or Form-B, whichever is applicable. Upload the necessary documents after filling out the form. Pay the fees to successfully submit your application.
There are three types of FSSAI registration/license:
- Basic
- State
- Central
This depends on your business turnover and your place of operation. For example, you’ll need a Central license if your turnover is above Rs. 2 crore and you operate within multiple states.
Between 1 and 5 years. This is the norm unless specified otherwise. You should apply for a renewal 30 days before the final date if your validity is about to end soon.
GST registration is mandatory only if your food business has an annual turnover of Rs. 40 lakh. FBOs above this threshold also have to comply with the GST regulations.
